Gotta show some love
sometime:
not just when the need arises,
not just for special occasions
but always.

Even saying
how much the love
of my life is cherished
isn't that difficult to do.

Some duders "show their love"
but it's all a front,
a facade they put on
like some costume.
With me,
it's a whole other story.

I show my love not
solely in the words I speak
or in the words
which I commit to pen
& paper
but also in selfless action:
going out of my way
to wholeheartedly
lend my support
to the love of my life.
